t line

what do you plug the top of a t line with im thinking of putting one in for easy drainage but am wondring what to plug it with the reason im putting one in is because im a bit of a messy git when draining and tent to spill it everywhere so what im thinking is when i want to drain pull the t line down and use the pump to drain it

Yeh either a Fill Port or ive heard a AAA Battery is the right size as well.

Is that just plumbers tape you've got wrapped around the bottom of the battery? Looks like a sweet or mint wrapper

Aye, not a bad price those either - makes the DD fillports look like a ripoff in comparison.

Fillports are more versatile for other tasks and purposes. EG: Would you like a lump of brass dangling around on the end of a piece of rubber if you were moving your PC about?? Fillport makes the end of the T-Line fixed and accessible from outside the case without needing to remove any panels. Fillport can also have it's cap removed, and a barb fitted instead, thus using it as a barb to barb connection for external piping runs...

Individual needs on a case by case basis determine which part is the best for the job.

Oh completely - couldn't agree more.

I was merely stating in this particular application (thread) it would seem wasteful to buy a DD fillport, when a 2 quid copper block would be perfectly adequate.
