A little suggestion here - When the server is full, could you make players go on zombie side and then get rid of a bot zombie? CT own too easily when there are an equal amount of CT players to Zombie bots. Having more zombie players might make it a better fight....

Another idea would be to always have 1.5 times the amount of zombies to CTs? I say this because it's tough when theres like 3 vs 16, and then it's too easy when it's 16 vs 16.

Dunno if you'd want to change anything as it is so popular, but having players play as zombies would get even more players in the server seeing the IDNET adverts etc. I also don't know this would affect people's stats? maybe put top zombie in the top10 as an incentive for players to be zombies?
 
yeah well when i play on the server every night there are only liek a maximum of 8 players which is alright, i was also thinking XMS could you get some more maps on there cause like ive seen it alot when people get onto a certain map especially prodigy they votemap to office or dust2, also i always see noob complaining about when you camp for to long you loose your weapons:( personally i would like to see some more maps in the rotation :)
 
I've changed a few settings on the server to make it a little bit harder:

Zombies now regenerate at 50hp/s instead of 5hp/s - this way you have much les time to finish off a zombie.

Buy time is now 0 - so while you are all standing there buying up your guns, the zombie can run straight from spawn and start attacking you ;)

Unfortunatly there is no way to make the number of zombies on the server dynamic, however, i am working on a way to vote for how many zombies you want, which might be just as effective ;)

What extra maps would you like to see?

ahh no wonder i was just playing then and i thought i was playing really crap, wasnt getting as much kills.

s far as maps goes i rekon milita and de_aztec

Militia is off the list for the moment until they fix the rubbish performance on it. I tested it with 16 zombies the other day, and the server fps went to 30fps (its normally at 500fps on dust2), and eveyrone was lagging like crazy :(

I'll add azzy tho ;)

Nice one XMS :worship:!!

I'd like to see how these changes affect things. I shall have a few games and report back! Having an option to vote for the amount of zombies is a good solution ;)

About maps - Not many people seem to like prodigy and some people just camp under pipes where the zombies can't get them :sleep:. I don't know what other peoples opinions of this are? Shame about militia, hopefully they get that sorted soon because it's a nice looking map. Would be great having CT spawn in the house and the zombies have to try getting in :D

Cbble might be a good map? Lots of little choke points for the zombies to surround CTs and there are open areas to give CTs a chance.

Prodigy is now off the rotation. You can vote for it, but now its dust, dust2, aztec, office in rotation :)
 
hey XMS, i know some wont like this but is it possible that you can bring up another zombie server cause everytime i go on now its literally full and its not really that fun cause zombies get wipped out within a minute of the round starting :( its really damn popular
 
I second Bloodthirst's point. Ive pretty muched stopped playing on it cos' theres just too many darn people on it all the time. Wich sucks as it was great fun with like 5 CT vs 16 Zombies.

How about if i make the zombies harder?
 
Is there some way you could make the zomibes harder proportionaly to the amout of people on the server?

It used to be dam near impossible to win when there was only two or three CTs (before there was constantly like 10 on there, I checked yest at 1amGMT and it was full) but far too easy with about 7+. So if the zombies health increased by like 50 every time a new CT joined it mite make it more of a challenge, while keeping it fair when (and if) theres low numbers of CT.

'Friad there is no way to do anything in CSS based on number of players :(

if i was by my self i could win on certain maps, but yeah its boring now i dont like it cause its way to full now :(

i think making the zombies harder would be a good thing :)
