Switch Emulator Ryujinx goes offline after its lead was contacted by Nintendo

I don't see what legal grounds they stand on for emulators allowing people to play games they own

Just a hunch but I don't think Nintendo actually care about the legal aspect in this one, More so that people playing their games, Even legally bought ones, On PC with gorgeous visuals and smooth frame rate shows how severely underpowered the Switch is which makes Nintendo look bad.

They likely know this wouldn't stand in court IF the defendant could afford to go to court but Nintendo can simply out money any of these small devs in the court system so it's not worth it for these small dev teams to fight back.

Again that's just a hunch though.
