Switch 810 rad/pump placement (opinions wanted)

Hi guys,

I finally have a week off and I have decided to reassemble my watercooling loop along with some changes.

As shown below I currently only have my Hardwarelabs GTX 420 installed at the front of the case. The red is possible pump mount locations (XSPC photon 170 and d5 combo).

I am currently deciding whether or not to get an xspc EX420 and stick it up top in a pull config (measured and should fit), or just leave out the hardwarelabs 420 and buy the monsta 420 rad and have it run push pull at the front and grab myself an XSPC EX360 in push pull at the top.

OK guys so my other thread didnt end up with any helpful advice, so ended up having to improvise, this is what it looks like at the moment:

Still planning on getting a 420 at the fron and maybe a 360 or 240 at the bottom, please pick out any areas that you guys think is out of place or should be changed (anything at all) so that I can take it into consideration. Please nothing about all the messy cables, this was a rushed 1 hour job so didnt have the time to worry about it.

Will be back later tonight so will get back to any suggestions then.

OH and sorry if this thread is in the wrong place, sort of went off.

I've got a swtich 810, And the layout of the inside of my case looks nothing like yours. You've obviously removed the drive bays. But have you also done a inverted motherboard tray mod? and also flipped the the rear plate upside down to match the mobo tray? because that's still definitely the feet that your PSU is meant to sit on the floor.

Yea, to be honest I ddint plan on inverting the motherboard tray, I just felt that it looked nicer this way, same with the PSU mount location.

This is what it looks like at the moment, still trying to find the best way to route everything.

Not very clear, but you get the idea. Also ended up giving up on the monster rad so that I could fit the 360 at the bottom.

I have a switch 810 also. I put an UT60 360mm up top and an XSCP RX240 in the bottom without a problem. My pump and res are in the external drive bays at the front.

Thanks for the info, however unfortunately I am already done this time. Will need to wait until next time to see if there is anything else I can do all in all. In the end I managed to get 2 420mm rads and 1 360mm rad into it and its cooling my cf 290x nicely. Oh and the front 420mm rad is a UT60 as well ;)
