Supermicro's 200-series motherboards have been pictured

Supermicro makes high end server motherboard just like superflower makes high end PSU's for servers, these mobo's could be the new best bang for your buck king

Yes I have heard of them. That doesn't mean they are automatically good in the consumer market just because they are big in a different market.

Im asking if they are good. Good BIOS layout, feature's, components, etc. The board itself can be the best. But if the BIOS is terrible, it means nothing

i remember people say the same thing about superflower, now look at them
also server bios are a lot more difficult to program so i would imagine they would have a very strong team behind them

but anyway only way to find out, TTL are you going to get one for a review?

I've worked with Supermicro boards before and it's a typical blue looking bios but these boards will probably have a skin on them like the more modern Asus, MSI boards, No one outside of Supermicro really knows anything about these boards though.

Super flower imo is overrated. To far hyped.
But anyways, I'd like to see a review on this. Specifically the BIOS and stuff, we already know the hardware is probably good, no point in picking it apart

These are going to be well built expensive boards. Bios is a little weird though from what I hear, similar to early EVGAs.

I think the last run used dip switches lol.

As mentioned previously, Supermicro are big in the custom server market and very expensive too. But one thing I have learned from this vendor is that when paying for one of these boards, your not paying for the quality of the goods, your paying for the aftersales support that comes with it. Will Supermicro live up to their channel partner reputation with these enthusiast boards ? Only time will tell !!

Supermicro were never really one for the looks, just bang for buck.

They've never been cheap. All of the ones I have had have been really expensive, but built like tanks.

They're certainly not an Asrock, let's put it that way.
