Super Talent Technology, a US-based manufacturer of DRAM memory modules and flash products, has announced a range of solid state disk (SSD) drives with an industry standard Serial ATA (SATA) interface.

Maybe we will see more SSD's coming out.

But as Frag says, will be interesting to see the retail prices
 
I`m finding their site a pita to navigate for some reason.

Can any1 tell me what the ceiling of the speeds (r/w) are on these due to SATA limitations ?

.. and that being said, is there a bigger advantage in having something like a pci+ card that has a different connection than the sata and could unleash that limitation ?
