Suggestions! Vista or XP?

Hey guys, I'm reinstlaling my OS today and I need our advice. Should I continue with Vista Ultimate or go back to Windows XP MCE 2005? I keep getting freezes when running too many rpograms at once, never happened in XP. Does that mean my memory is just insufficient for Vista? Please gimme advice ASAP! Thanks!

stick with xp, till all the bugs are worked out atleast, its safer...go back when they've "fixed" vista

Vista has been running perfectly for me ever since installing it about a week ago. I haven't had a single crash or problem with Vista thus far, I'm VERY pleased with it. It's also much snappier than XP which I like.

My vote is for Vista!

Nah I ran RC2 with 1gb and it ran just as well.

Well, when in Vista, my system freezes/restarts/blue screens if doing too many things at one. Bad isntall, or lack of memory? Also, keep in mind this isnt a RC its the final version of ultimate from MSDN, could that play a role? Thanks!

RTM, same version spiritd is. And I highly doubt they made it run worse with 1gb of memory in the RTM than RC2, but we are talking about MS.

Do you think RTM could be different form the one released on MSDN? Also, didn't RC2 have some features missing?

i can imagine my 2gb now after a week of pc being on....'free memory= 250mb' roflz
