Sub £400 22" Monitor Eyefinity Setup?

I just want to know if any of you guys could tell me any monitor setups for eyefinity. If I do decide to upgrade to Tri-monitor Eyefinity I will be ordering a second 7870 to help handle the extra display's.

I use 3 Iiyama X2377HDS and I love them.
I know they're 23 inch, but still...

For 22, the best around is probably the LG IPS224V.

Make sure you get IPS screens.

Youll probably find youll need nw GFX too tbh.

Even a single 7970 cant handle 3 screens with everything turned up.

I personally dont like eyefinity at all.

Damn it mate! Your setup must look pretty beast, and yep I've had my eye on those 22" monitors for a while now. They look like great monitors for eyefinity! Especially with the bezles being so small for the price.

Thanks for the reply Tom, I was wondering if my card would be good enough, even in xFire. But my next big upgrade on my system will definitely be my mobo and CPU. I was just wondering for the future really .

I just read that a 7870 in xFire can beat a 7970? True or False?

I'd have thought probably true.
Tom's saying you aren't going to be able to have games on max settings.

Even with Crossfire, vRAM may be a small issue too.

You should be fine running games in medium settings. Some games on high even - But I doubt you'll see many games where you're able to put all settings on ultra and get 60FPS...

On my single 670, on BF3 with settings on ultra, I get around 30FPS which isn't really playable. But if I take the settings down to medium, the FPS doesn't drop below 60.

It's your decision - but most people tend to favour a high end single card, over 2 mid-range cards in Crossfire.

Yea I was thinking the same about the vRAM, so I had a look around for about 30 minutes and I couldn't find anything with higher vRAM than 2GB. And I don't really mind about the settings not being maxed out, as long as it has a decent look to it and I feel that it's a worthy sacrifice. And sorry about the double post, when I tried editing the post previous, I had an error that said that the post must be more than 5 characters .
