Strange OCCT Figures

Hi,

Got my Haswell OC'd to 4.2 Ghz @ 1.16 vcore. I was doing a batch video encode overnight with Handbrake, and I had OCCT open to monitor temperatures.

I've noticed that my bus speed has been spiking. As you can see from the image attached my temperatures were fine. Is this a blip with OCCT's monitoring?

Earlier I had noticed a bus speed of over 1000 which had my CPU0 clock reported as an astronomical overclock!

I think it's fair to say you won the silicon lottery :P
Try re-install it, it's fixed my OCCT incorrect readings problems.

your voltages are all wrong as well have you got any other monitoring software running as that can upset the readings

No, I just had OCCT running?

** Edit **

I hadn't paid any attention to the voltages, but...

Just opened Aida at same time as OCCT. Looks like OCCT is messed up. I just updated to Windows 8.1 and never seen this before that, so maybe I could put it down to incompatibility with Win 8.1.

I loaded optimised defaults in BIOS and played Batman Arkham Origins for a couple of hours with AIDA64 open. I got thosew weird clock figures again.

Does anyone know what would cause these spikes? If the temperatures were high I would be worried, but it looks like these are momentary spikes lasting less than a second.

Is this a cause for concern?
