Just installed steam, remember adding some games awhile back so it's just downloading them. i want to buy counter-strike: source to play with you lot. As i'm from the uk, is it ok me using steam to buy games?

Does anyone else use steam from the uk?

dunno about buying games off steam,source came with half life 2 as did steam which is why most of us have it(we bought hl2 lol)

Every legit copy of valve games runs through steam.

Yep bought a few games off steam never had a problem. They convert the dollars into pounds and add you some tax onto it

Buying games via Steam is rather painless and quick. If you need to get yourself HL2 I suggest buying an unused CD key on eBay, you can get em for about $15. Much better than spending what Valve wants for the game through steam.... 50 some odd dollars isnt it?

Yeah, I love buying games via Steam. Quick, simple, and no need to go to the store.

I bought DoD:S on Steam when it first came out, as a matter of fact!

EDIT: just been playing on it, tis wicked!! i finally have a reason to build myself a gamers machine. Just have to do it month by month
