steam serial key

well i just installed CSS and hl2 and when i go to register the serial key it says that it is invalid hmmm its all right and everything but one thing i noticed thats my product key was like this:

" 11111-22222-33333-44444-55555-66666666 half life 2"

like thats what its structure is with half life 2 at the end but im not sure whether your supposed to put that there because you cant put any spaces in.

but down the bottom it says " the key looks like the following "

"1111-22222-3333-AAAAA-BBBBB-CCCCC-DDDDD-EEEEE"

as opposed to the one i already got

totally different key structure

Hey harmo i guess you got the HL² License Legally.

So now just call steam and let them give you a new Code. Should be easy and fast.
