Starcraft I is like an all time fav to alot of people. So II is going to be killer im sure since theyve taken all this time to release it.

Have you seen the first game at all? These graphics look stunning compared to the sprites of the first game. And the first games gameplay was aawesome. I still play it online. Besides, its an rts.

All i can say is i hope blizzard take on what the fans want rather than go down a different path. The first game was a spectacular success, and they've got a lot too live up too.

I think if put to a global gamer vote, Starcraft would probably go down as the most legendary gaming franchise of all time, or maybe right below Warcraft (seeing as how popular WoW got to be).

I know the graphics are better than the first, but the first one was released in 1998 so it's nearly 10years old.

There are a lot of new RTS games with excellent graphics, even when you zoom in to see the action.

I think the gfx look fab tbh. They vastly resemble the original SC gfx which keeps the same feel of the game, they use the same console gfx too which is nifty.

In the videos though you can see that it's completely 3D now, you can free spin with the camera, zoom in and zoom out. Fully zoomed in, the level of detail looks pretty darn good actually.

I so can't wait for this.

My biggest worry is that i won't be able to zoom out enough (aka C&C3) which (frankly) gives me claustrophobia

I'm hoping we get a mod for that at some point - the new patch (1.5) is a big one and basically rebalances the whole game. Sorry, back OT

Personaly where an RTS is concernd i dont really care about graphics. Its all about the gameplay, and Starcraft PWNS!!!
