Well Friday afternoon was a bad day, on the way back from picking up the other car from the garage the dear old Cavalier (Chav as it's affectionetly known) gave up the ghost.
Loss of power followed by what sounded like 30 spanners being shaken in a metal bucket signified that her work was done and it was time to put her out to pasture.
She is currently sat in a layby some 1 mile from home waiting for tthe scrap man to come and collect her.
So the Surf bus has gone and it's now time to see what else I can pick up with a £200 budget to ferry the boards and junk around so we don't messw up the decent car
