SSD + HDD

Hey guys

Ive just tryed to set up my SSD and HDD combo. Got everything in installed on my SSD (everday stuff) then tryed to change the path in the registery to my HDD. I changed all the paths to drive (H) now i cant enter my registery or system resore or anything doh!!! Is there anything i can do aside from reformatting windows?

Unless you can boot from a different OS and can restore the registry with a backup you made, no. And I wouldn't be able to assist you in that route anyway, didn't you see this was inevitable when you started messing with the registry? lol

oh well u live and learn. I just wanted all my games to install on the storage drive. looks like i need to do a little more research

You realise most games let you change their install path when you install them? Unless you were copying them from one place to another?

select custom install when your putting the games on and you can put them where you like.

I dont seem to have that option? Is it a windows setting?

Unless you're installing them from Steam this should be the solution. If you are installing them from Steam then you need to install Steam on the hard drive.

Can u have steam on both drives so i can put current games on the ssd and old games on the hdd?
