SSD and HDD raid array

Hey guys

I have a current setup with an SSD boot drive and two HDD drives for storage. I would like to set up the two HDDs in a raid 1 array, but not sure of the best way to do this. The SSD is 3Gbps and the HDDs are 6Gbps. My main board does have 3Gbps and 6Gbps connections.

My system specs are as follows: i5-2500k, ASRock B75 Pro3 main board, 8GB ram, 160GB Intel SSD 320 series, 1.5TB WD Green Drive, Geforce GTX 550 Ti, Windows 7 Ultimate.

Also, do I have any options for adding a 3rd 1TB 3Gbps HDD?

Thanks for your help,

Shoe

Pretty sure you'd have to run a 3rd drive on the same controller.
Raid is easy to setup. Read you motherboard manual.
Bios settings to change hard drives to raid etc.
Then creating the pool - option of raid 1 or 0.
Or use windows 8's storage spaces. Then add whatever you like to the raid pool.
Other things to look at are freeNAS etc. Google is your friend. :)
