Hi Guys, time for sharing

When I first got my MSI NX6800GT, I had problems with SF freezing. Here is a copy of the email I sent, and the remedy I got. It fixed the problem and it has never resurfaced.

Firstly I would like to commend you on an excellent product, well done!!! I have one question though, that I believe you may be able to help me with. I am running an MSI 875P NEO FISR (PCB 2.0) with MS Win XP Pro and SF vers 4.18, initially SF configures everything properly and states "end of detection", but after about 20 mins I get* SMBus msg : 11:31:40.843 SELB $00 to $4C (2 retries). *This continues until I cannot right click on SF to restore, it kind of freezes. Hope you can help, and thanks for your time.

It's a collision with some other tool. You should check to see which chip is at address $4C (enter CONFIG). If it's the video card, you can disable video card access using the following command line option:

/NONVIDIAI2C
