Will be for me. Would be convenient for a UHD drive but tbh with everything going digital in 4k it's just easier.
Plus it's cheaper which will mean another controller or even game/ps plus subscription with the money saved

Apparently it looks worse when it does.
The ONLY reason I would get a PS5 is for the game series called INFAMOUS. All the other PS5 exclusives mean nothing to me whatsoever.
No console should EVER be standing up. Put it how it should be.....Horizontally.
That said....IF they smarten up and make another Infamous game.....I will get the one with the disc drive. All digital only consoles are a stupid idea. The drive adds more value, and will allow for offline play.....whereas the all digital version probably will not work with an internet connection.
SMART people will choose the version WITH the drive.

A "smart" person would realize online connection is required for basically every game regardless of single or multiplayer.

Well I am just chuffed that I don't absolutely have to buy one for TLOU2 which releases next week. Will pre order that in a bit, excited much !
TBH I doubt I will buy both consoles. I will probably go for the Xbox unless something I absolutely must have comes out on the PS.

Smart people take pride in cleanliness and less clutter, meaning I dont want a drawer full of games. Diskless is the better option. Looks better too
And offline play can be done with diskless too...
Probably wrong about that as well! I have a catalogue of titles that do not need to be connected. Why would that change given the outcry in the past of "always online" titles.
I feel like i just want to pick apart your thread word by word, but its your opinion so i'll just disagree with you with 99.99% of it and leave it there.
I wonder how much of it is the cooling solution. Afterall, they have been producing a slim variant for years now with every generation bar the first one.
