Sony plans to showcase PlayStation VR2 at CES 2023

The specifications do look great, but OMG at the price tag.
£530! Cheap compared to PC versions, now if it also works on PC plug-n-pray?
That'll never happen though.

TBH dude they would be utterly stupid not to make it work on a PC. Or at least allow someone to make it work.

That's a huge chunk of sales there, and market share from "meta".

We'll see.
I hope they do make it cross compatible. Getting PSVR1 working on the PC is doable but it's not a brilliant experience. Not as good as on the PS4.

Now steam games on PSVR2... that could be truly excellent.

TBH unless it's a priority connector it'll just get hacked. They're not complex they all work the same way.

It would be superbly dumb of them to Bork it. The original one sold like cack and had one good game (Astrobot). So it also has no replay value once you finish astro bot

Are you kidding?
5 million headsets sold as of 2019.
It's has a lot of seriously great games.
Astrobot is one, Moss, Wipeout (utterly amazing but vomit inducing for the first hour), Drive club, Tetris, Battlezone, Dreams, Doom, Rigs, Until Dawn, Hustle kings, Pinball to name but a few.
