silly person.

That the acctual panda scan or one of those really annoying 'Your computer MAY be infected with spyware! CLICK HERE to ENSURE it is!' adverts?

Forgive the blonde moment but ive never used panda before.

hehe , well i am sure you all have seen these and trust me there are worse users then users not running A/V . e.g switching computer on and not the display thus complaining nothing comes on , switch on the wall has been turned off and pressing the "power on" button on pc nothing works, plug hasnt been plugged back into P.S.U etc etc. :)

indeed this is true, its great when they have a crappy AV installed that they didnt know they had to update from time to time.

hehe, so true, the usual one is when one gets a new machine, they get it home, plug it all in, press that little power button on the front and nothings happens, they ring up all guns blazing shouting and swearing. and all you have to say to them is "have you turned the switch on at the back of the machine"

thats the point where they go all quiet as they turn it on and it springs into life.

Hehe, it makes you feel good sometimes :)

/me wonders why his post stay at 100 :S

Nothing's wrong with NOD32. I've used Panda and its pretty crap tbh. Now I use NOD and use it on friends machines and its far better

NOD32 has been voted best virus scanner by Virus Bulletin for many years running now. It has detected 100% of 'in-the-wild' (unknown) viruses since its release. Nothing comes close :)

In total agreeance with NOD, I use it on all of my machines at the house. It catches shit that other AV's wouldn't even alert me about.

I thought my mates machine was bad when it showed up with over 20 viruses, so I told him off, I dont want to think what I might have done if it showed 33000+ up.

On the subject of computers not starting up, I remember the old floppy left in the drive syndrome.

another advocate of NOD here ... its honestly the best AV out there .. it and Zone Alarm pro one hell of a combination (yea ZA pro is a noisy fuka but it is so secure it )

ZA pro is kikas .. it paranoid level security ... a cd tries to auto run and alerts u , install sheild tries to access the net it tells u ... once u calm it down u can feel pretty safe
