Some more 3dMarks on 7800GTX (inc SLi)

Well here are some prelim benchies from XS by sxs112.

They speak for themselves...stock (and its said underclocked by nvidia on purpose).

Getting 7823 single

and 13142 Sli

The screenies will whow you that they may need some decent cooling:

Not bad

To put this into perspective: 3DMark05 is a pretty GPU intense bench that needs fast vid cards. My system should get around 5500(ish)...Austin and Frag OC'd tto the nuts) should get close to 6000Marks. Its 90% GPU and only 10%CPU.

SO I think as a stock score - this is pretty awesome :worship:

Also the rumour is that when ATi launch the R520, nvidia will launch a higher clocked Ultra version of the cards that will beat it, forcing ATI to clock the R520 hihjer and therefore lose yields on their top-spec chips....but that's just a rumour

Here ya go Dave...just below the post:

13K in SLI at stock speeds, that's actually quite good. I think that with some good cooling this card has a huge heatroom for overclocking. They probably clocked it a bit low to keep the card cool with it's mighty 32 pipelines so I expect some awesome overclocking.

Also nice to see the FX57 in action

The man says they are at stock, the score makes sense to be at stock, I naturally assume them to be at stock

No Dave I just believe peeps when they say that someothing is that....why would they be bothered to lie?

We'll see what hapens when they come out, but I will bet it to be at stock

But those are some pretty decent scores... Not as good as I had hoped from the g70 but I'm sure it will be improved before release.
