Some Early Venice overclocking results .... looks good so far

OHhhh and btw Venice 3500+ is available on Newegg now :bootyshak .

*Edit - On other news I just got a Clawhammer cored 3500+ for exchange for my crappy bent pin CBBID 3500+ Winnie from the local PC Club :D . Some pics and initial results should be up tomorrow.

The Stepping is CAA2C 0505 APMW . The XS forum members have got about 11x250 on this proc at about 1.48 V :yumyum: :yumyum: :yumyum: . Im thinking around 2.8 ghz with decent amount of volts on XP120+ Panaflo ;) .

How much was that proc Frag....just out of interest?

What speed is it rated at stock? You'll be getting some major results with that, as long as you're PC jasn't exploded or something! lol ;)

2.4ghz stock w/ 13x multi (i'm pretty sure it's 13... 12 or 13 one or the other) and the oh so luscious 1mb l2 :D

Hmmm.....1mb L2....what are the procs that I can run on a 754skt?

Might have to grab one in a few months! w00t!! :)

Yeah I know that but I couldn't get hold of one. Are there some new chips coming out for 754 that have 1mb L2? Or any really cool chips comeing out?

Just for future upgrades (before I start saving for the big one next year!) :cool:

Im not sure... Turion's might have 1mb l2 since they're going to be the new mobile chips.

Cool...and I can use a Turion in my motherboard? (with a BIOS flash?)

That would be wkd as I reckon those mobile chips would OC to Fuck! :D

Yessur! You'll have to find a custom BIOS but that shouldnt be hard to do... I have a feeling they will become rampant as soon as Turions hit the shelfs.
