Solid state disk and hdd

Hey its me again lol. Just a few questions, my setup will be a SSD and a HDD and i just wondered, if i installed programmess on the hDD when the SSD just had vista on it, would they work with other operating systems in the future without the need for a fresh install of them if i was to wipe vista off the SSD leaving the HDD untouched?

Some will, some wont. It all depends on how reliant the application is on the settings it places in the registry.

Personally after reinstalling Windows I'd also reinstall all applications, otherwise you may run into weird error messages.
