Sold my Titan Blacks..

Watch this space.....
Well I've been watching this space for almost an hour... and nothing has happened...

If you are to create a new thread you should really be ready to at least fill the opening post with some content.

Hah ! I'm not sure what to get yet. I want a Fury X, and I think I might have found one without popping out a kidney but if that falls through it will probably be the 8 Pack 980ti.

I'll keep you in suspenders ;)

Have some fun dude :D I've got no GPU lol.

Wasn't aware greg was selling his Fury X, anyone know why? Has he finished all his TX vs FX etc stuff now?

Yeah 40 in the whole country ^_^

Seriously bad stock issues.

Yeah its absolutely stupid. I am thinking either really bad yields or cooler shortage/intentionally not making them since they know they are faulty. Would explain why there are plenty of Sapphire Fury pros still with retailers.

I'm guessing judging by Gregs videos it's because the Titan X in quite a lot of the vids literally wiped the floor with the Fury X, No point in keeping it really.

He never got to try the card at 4k. He did order a 4k 40" monitor but I think he probably realised it was a bit silly, as like Dice said he already has a Titan X.

I think he probably thought it would be better at 1080p etc but nah, it's a pure 4k card. Good old AMD launching tech that's years early really.

Not that it affects me. At the resolution I run I will give it a proper workout. Greg's an Nvidia fan and probably realised it wasn't worth spending over a grand just to write a review with the same results in it that every other reviewer got.

I wouldn't say years early, 1 year perhaps but that's just the HBM which 4GB is only really equivalent to 6GB GDDR5 according to PCPERS interview with AMD.

I might get a Fury X IF they ever manage to unlock voltage and really unlock it's current limits but at the moment anyone on a 980 Ti/TX has no reason to get one for 1080P/1440P or 4K as it would be a step back in many cases.

So you think in one year we'll all have 4k monitors and will be in the market for HBM cards?

I could count the 4k users around here on half a hand dude. And any other resolution? as we know, right now it's a bit of a horror show.

It will be at least three years from now until we start seeing people shifting over in any sort of serious numbers.

Not that I am complaining, as I run 4k, but yeah, seriously small audience right now.
