Hi all,

Project chimp is on the sidelines at the moment as i got a bit carried away and need more funds to really do it justice. should be back on in the next month or so though.

I do have another little project to turn out, my boy is approaching his 6th birthday and has asked for his first PC. :o

Its not going to be anything epic, i have a few bits and pieces around so some of these are going into his system.

My question is this, its going to be running an I3 Ivybridge CPU of some description and one of my old GTX 580s and i am going to water cool because the 580 is already blocked and he wants a water cooled system just like his dads lol

I want to make the rig as small as possible, system will be running stock, im after some suggestions as to how little rad i can get away with.

suggestions and views of you guys always appreciated, thanks in advance!

If it were me and I was going for as small a form factor as possible, I would go with the Bitfenix Prodigy for the case, and an ITX mobo. Running at the stock clocks, I would go with either a 200mm radiator mounted in the front, or a 240mm rad mounted in the top, but it would prevent you from using the 5.25 bay. If you were overclocking, I would say get both of those rads, but since you're running them at stock clocks, one or the other should be okay.
