Small MATX case?

Hi all. I'm looking at getting a smallish form factor case for a build (not entirely sure what for) and I was looking at some smaller cases. Some I have come across in a reasonable price range are
- Silverstone PS07, Temjin TJ08
- Fractal Design Core 1100
- Corsair Air 240, 230T
- Coolermaster Silencio 352

The components to fit inside are I3 4160, Gigabyte Z97MX G5, MSI GTX 480, Silverstone 600W Strider Plus, A few choices of CPU coolers Noctua 12S or U9B or a Corsair H60 first gen. I will be purchasing this case at xmas time or a few months later as I will be getting a Samsung 950 Pro SSD for it.
Cheers for any thoughts.

Is that an MSI GTX480? I think from memory they run pretty hot. I have no experience with any of those cases tho.

Yeah it is. It was a reasonable price for its performance here in NZ so I got it (originally for a cheap build to sell but that plan went out the window). I'm possibly thinking of something along the lines of a 660,760 or 7K, 200 series AMD card with a bit better thermals and power.

Yeah will just mean you'd be considering better airflow. A lot of cases have plenty for a GPU but some of the HTPC style or really small cubes tend to be pretty restrictive from what I've seen. If the GPU has direct access to fresh air and you're tidy with your cables (or you're not afraid to shorten them) then the 480 will be fine.

Any ideas yet what are you using it for? LAN rig or just a small form factor for the lounge room/streaming to the tv etc? Or maybe just a multi purpose rig. I guess it depends on whether you have a main rig for gaming etc.

Yes I did actually look at the V21 but not too seriously. I'm thinking maybe as a lounge box as my Sig is my main rig ;) Saw a awesome review on the PS07 and Air 240 by someone around here and they seem pretty sweet and they come in white. However as airflow may be a concern I'm still not too certain.

Corsair 88R just popped up again on the forum. May be worth a look. Or the 100R. Obviously the Bitfenix line has been done to death but it's popular for a reason.

Silverstone do some nice SFF PSU's as well and short cabling. However you already have that covered.

I'm not saying a TT PSU killed a couple of hard drives and caused stability issues . But since upgrading I've had no problems... coincidence?

OFF TOPIC

I had a TT ToughPower PSU years ago and it drop wattage and it was still under warranty i think i had to pay to send the damn thing back too so pretty much after that point i have never touch another TT product.

Have to had a look at a Nanoxia Deep Silence.

Hey good idea. I've had a brief look at the Deep Silence 4 and it's pretty sweet my main rig is a R4 so it'll be good to look at the closest competition.
Another thought anyone have experience with the Bitfenix Phenom MATX? That has a pretty cool aesthetic too and since I won't be needing any HDD bays because I can use the adapter in the 5.25 bay and have plenty of airflow.

Okay so it is decided... I have brought a 1 month old FT03 case in silver. Going to build it next week and it is what I've been looking for. Small and stylish case with enough room for my components. Cheers for your input.

It's worth looking at the Cooler Master N200. It's priced very well and its fairly small.

Edit: nvm didn't see the most recent post thanks to the mobile website :P
