They probably list the RX480 right now because the RX Vega cards are not released yet and they are not allowed to disclose anything about it.

Then again a 480 is also recommended, chances are that 980 won't be a problem.

I'm digging the slightly older cars, the list definitely makes me feel nostalgic about GT1 and 2.

It is pretty believable. Just means they really really favor AMD and Nvidia just got screwed over. But I doubt they did this.

I think they recommended it because the Rx480/580 is the best AMD card available. So if vega was already released the probably would have recommended the vega equivalent to the 1080 from nvidia
