SLI Compatible?

Hello all.
I recently purchased a GeForce GTX 480 to replace my GTS 450.
However, I was wondering if it were possible to run them both in SLI, and if so, would that be a good idea?

Rig contents:
ASUS Maximus V Gene
Gskill Ripjaws 4v2GB 1600 DDR3 9-9-9-24
Intel Core i5 3570k
Corsair 600T (White)
Zalman 850W 80+ Silver PSU
Custom water cooling for GPU and CPU.

welcome to the OverClock 3D (OC3D) forum,
not an idea to team them together. kinda like one side of a car going 100mph and the other
going 60mph.. your SLI will be as strong as your weakest card. you can try Physx, but thats
usually for a similar bit-rate performance. you are trying to make apples and oranges play together.

worry about cooling the beast... sell the 450 and get some case cooling.
