Wonder if Vega or Volta(it's still volta right?) will use a config of 4 for a total of 16GB or if they will use different variations depending on price bracket, like 2 stacks for 8GB.
What i find most impressive though, is that HBM2 not only can hit 1TB/s but do this at an even lower power consumption than HBM1 while at the same time, provide more capacity. That's a pretty big step up for a second evolution and basically destroys anything G5X can do, but obviously you pay for those benefits.
