Simple review on ColaMax 6790 GREEN 1GB GDDR5

After 6850 Green and Single Slot version, ColaMax 6790 Green and Single Slot version also launched.

6790 is a simplified version of 6850, called Barts LE, 10 SIMD Engines total 800SP, less than 6850 12 SIMD Engines. But the core speed of 6790 is 840Mhz, 65Mhz more than 6850.

Mission of 6790 is fill the gap between 5770 and 6850,

ColaMax added 2 selling point (Green and Single Slot) to this 6790,

so it may be the higher C/P ratio's ATI 256bit graphics card.

If it was priced at £95 - £100 the 6970 would be worth it if you needed a GPU but you were not a big gamer, but if you are a gamer this card is pointless when the 6850 is a few quid extra and is the better faster card.
