Silly question

Right here is my silly question of the week got a dual pump sitting here it only has 2 x 3 pin female connectors on it. Obviously I need to power it straight from the psu so would this work at the full 12v and would I be able to connect both to 1 cable or would I have to use seperate cables.

So could I connect via this for example http://www.amazon.co.uk/BitFenix-20cm-Molex-3-Pin-Adapter/dp/B004J3P658/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t if not can I get some UK links to a suitable one.

Thanks Lomez

Each 3pin connector connects to each pump, and theres no voltage regulator on the cables themselves, so yes, you should be fine hooking it up in series if you wish.. ie.

PSU - cable - 3pin - 3pin

If you have a look at your PSU, it will tell you the full capacity of each line going out, im sure someone here can do the technical side of things XD.

I would connect it to a decent fan controller so you would be able to control the speed of your pumps.

What pumps do you have? DDC's?

my psu will easily handle it on the rail was just looking to see if the puumps would be okay off it is all thanks for your answer time to order one then.

2x 18W DDC pumps withe white EK dual top v2 and res I have a fan controller which can take 30w per channel also so I could in theory use that.

Yes thats what you should do. Because 2 DDC's on full blast is a hell lot of pumping power!

Also make sure to connect each pump to an individual channel.

Good shout on the controller btw and yeah it is a lot of pumping power but its only for redundancy since im only going to be pumping through 3 blocks and 2 rads 480 + 240.

Just had a derp moment and remember I have a Tbalancer BigNG and MiniNG should be able to run the pumps off the mini and fans off the BigNG makes the fan controller I bought redundent but meh.

Its up to you how you set it all up, but beeing able to control the pump speed is a must imo.
Running them on full throttle isnt necessary.
