Silencing HDDs in Lian-Li V1100

After posting about it on some other forums, I thought I would upload some photos of how I made my hard drives quieter.

When the hard drives are in direct contact with the case, you can hear the spinning noise, and when you have 4 hard disks this can be quite noisy.

I simply bought some elastic shoe laces and made a cradle for my drives to sit in, ensuring that they never come in direct contact with the case.

I`ve seen people do that b4.

People would be supprized how simple an idea actually works.

Then there`s the slightly more expense method of buying those rubber/spoungey gromet thingies. Might look a bit nicer, but meh. Laces cost, gromets cost - pfft.

Guess some1 who watercools could take an off-cut of a hose and cut it into cross-sections to make gromets.

Another thing, I freakin h8 having to still use either molex power connectors, stoopid sata power connectors, and in particular sata data cables.

What I`d like is 1 really flexible cable with both power and data. Not too much to ask.
