I play exclusively CS:GO and this are my current frametimes, I'm considering replacing my AMD 7950 with something like GTX780.
Also my motherboard has a PLX chip in it so my understanding is that it also add latency, also replacing mobo.
so in conclusion virgin P67 (intel p67 PCI-E 2.0 x16) amd something like a Nvidia GTX780.

I personally feel that replacing your 7950 for a 780 for CS:GO is ridiculous...

Are you gaming on a 144hz monitor and playing at competitive level or something?

yes I do game at 144hz, actually the 7950 is able to get 144fps+
and yes I want every edge ingame, thats why I'm considering nvidia gpu + new mobo.

i guess you want to max the framerate out for stability reasons, for some reason you won't find a lot of understanding for that here, but i feel you mate. running csgo at 333fps steady is pretty darn hefty, but it probably won't be the GPU that is keeping you down there, it's a CPU bottleneck which you can't really do anything about atm, more cores won't solve the problem. i'm running a gtx 770 with a 4670k and i get 250-300fps on de_dust maxed out. i guess capping the game at 250 would make sense, i personally cap it at 333 because that's the best for bhopping and custom maps are a lot easier on the rig.
