Second GTX, New PSU

I have an Enermax 600W Noise Taker 2 and I’m thinking of getting a second 8800GTX, but I don’t know if my power supply could handle it, If I did I would have to use 4 Molex connectors to convert into 2 6Pin connectors . Does all this sound possible or is it worth just buying a new one, Im looking at this.....

Yes I would suggest a new PSU really - using converters is never really that great... although 600W would probably be enough to actually run it.

As for the Gigabyte Odin 800W however, have you checked it has all of the necessary connectors?

If so then it looks to be a pretty good choice.

I did start looking into psus as powerfull as u wanted and at a great quality, but there are loads out there.

If I were u, I would look at the OC3D review section.

It is important to be sure u`r gonna have all the connectivity u need too and maybe something for the future.

Don`t forget also, that the stores associated with the forums do their own special offers for OC3D members - plus u`ve got the facility of the forum as an aftersales thingy.

It’s defiantly got all the connectors I just don’t want to go spending over £100 on a new PSU if it’s not that necessary.
