You have a point, but remember 11th and 12th Gen are winter cookers, every little increase in thermal conductivity is greatly appreciated provided that the price is right. I would take the best performer any day of the week even if its a 1C improvement

Exactly. No-one needs a custom loop for their PC as all of the hardware will work air-cooled but even a few degree difference can mean your GPU going a bin higher etc.
