Scores for Intel's upcoming i7 8700K appear on the Geekbench database

rumors place it closer to 420 euro.

intel is finally offering me what i expected for kaby lake... 6 cores.
klaby lake was a complete disappointment in my opinion.

i am very happy that i did not buy a Z270 mainboard.
Latest leak say 389€, but I'm still hoping :)

So basically a 3 year old architecture that's just refreshed and then given an additional 2 cores.
Guess I'll keep my Skylake 6700k

Have they given any reason why z270 will not support coffee Lake? Even if that is true I'm sure there will be no reasons for a z370 to support Kaby Lake... Intel is allways pulling sh*t like this... They should really start carring about costumers...
One thing, if anyone cares to comment on this.
Ryzen is a new arquitecture, it has room to evolve, as I see it, this is pretty much the end of the line for this intel arquitecture... The "last evolution"... If intel doesn't come up with a new arquitecture as well, amd will overrunn intel in one or two ryzen generations... I might be wrong... What do you guys think?!

It's kinda getting on my boobs a bit seeing Geekbench every time Intel release a new CPU.

The only thing it has any use for is comparing the new Intel CPU to your old Intel CPU /roll eyes.

Suddenly the 400 i paid for the 6800K doesn't seem so bad heh.

Well it wasn't fantastic. Not when the R5 1600 costs over half and will beat it.
