I have tried and failed to put SATA raid drivers in a windows install disc via nLite :(

Can anyone go through each step (ie - nLite JUST SATA RAID drivers (DFI NF4 SLI-DR on Sil1334 say) i can do the slipstreaming etc...

Do i press F6 when prompted ? or will my raid array just be there as if it were a single disc ?

Shouldn't need to F6 them, the install should pick them up from the CD and auto install them. You need to have the inf file etc from the SiL install disk and slipstream them and the nVidia RAID ones from the nVidia driver pack.

You won't need to press F6 if you have them slipstreamed into the XP installation CD. In nLite just add the driver files when it asks for them in the settings. It will add them to the driver folder and instruction automatically when you create the CD.

As above,

Next nlite release looking good :)

Remember to use RyanVM packs here

Intergrate ati/nvidia graphics and motherboard drivers.

i dont like to mix drivers in, as theyre updated too often :eh:

thanks for the help tho guys

am i right in thinking the bottom most SATA slots are SIL1334 on the DFI SLI-DR ?

4 are nVidia nForce 4 (if using as IDE ie not raided shouldn't need drivers) and 4 are SiL3114a I thought.

You can use the add in drivers to get windows installed and then update them once installed. I usually install the ethernet driver as well
