Samsung SH-S223C problem

After i update my firmware from v SB01 to SB02 the drive stoped working.

The drive is identified correctly by the OS and by the BIOS but the tray doesn't open.

I reaplied the update several times and the result is every time the same...

Any help is welcome.

(The drive is 3 days old, i'm very sad about it)

I have the 224 version.

Had to have it exchanged ( RMA'd ) twice now due to failures.

My advice change it for another if you can.

I did the firmware update think mines TS02 or something but it ramdomly doesnt get recoginsed on boot, locks up etc.

These days its rare i use it so its a small annoyance but as yours is unusable i'd reccommend a change.
