Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 4K 240Hz monitor is now available in the UK

I actually just got mine this weekend, after my delivery date being pushed back several times because I pre-ordered late. Loving the monitor so far, but the plastic ring at the back is annoying to get on (and I don't use the lighting) so I left it off. The insides of monitor itself can get quite hot; I pulled out a HDMI cable and metal part was very hot.

ITs horrible, its so stiff to click in place I actually broke half of mine. Congrats on the monitor, its a beauty

I understand this product needs to exist. But I don't know why would anyone buy it. Beta testing and all. GPUs can't run 4K 144Hz, and 240Hz is years away.

I agree to a point. That is an 8 year old game. If you play a game in 4K you want all the bells and whistles on. You want to experience all that detail and graphics. And if it can run in uber smooth 4K it is awesome. So until GPUs can get at least to the point like they are now for 1440p high fidelity games this monitor is useless.

Honestly I don't think we'll ever be at a point where 4K on a brand new Triple-A game can easily do 60FPS nevermind 144FPS even on a halo product as devs keep pushing graphical limits.
