Samsung launched their CFG70 144Hz HDR FreeSync monitors

The only thing I want to know is what is the FreeSync range? Does it actually go all the way to the 144Hz refresh rate or does it cap out at say 90? But I would probably buy this if I had the money on hand and if reviews say it is good as a gaming monitor.

Also for anyone curious the specs say it is a VA Panel Type.

Weirdly the article says HDR but nowhere in the product video or the official product page does it mention support for an HDR standard such as HDR-10 or Dolby Vision.

Their quantum dot stuff is HDR. They have the wider colour gamut of 125% sRGB and their max luminance is much higher than non-HDR offerings. The HDR rec2020 spec is very high and manufacturers are only just starting to enter this range, so the HDR stuff on display today is still very entry-level.

Since it's a quantum dot panel, it means that it employs the HDR-1000 technology, which is based on HDR-10 standard.
