Think its high time we move on from Sata 3 as the main data transfer connection. While all this technology is great its still not going to improve the speeds but rather maintain it. If we really want to to improve the tech we need to move on to Sata 4 or alter M.2 to allow for more than one to be installed and off the mobo. We also need to move on to the newest standard of NVMe instead of AHCI.
