Ryzen Killer - Intel's Next-Gen i3 CPUs could destroy AMD's budget lineup

They have been for a long time.

The 11400F was a very strong contender. Problem was? the very expensive high end 11th gen were poor. And all of the reviewers always focus on those. The 12400F? was around the same. Mostly because if you stick the 11400F in the right board it will disable the time limit on turbo and the chip will run at max turbo clocks always. They disabled that on the 12400F.

But yeah, they didn't get enough press. Mostly because people get into a mode where they only want to recommend one thing from one company. Silly human behavior.

AMD have stopped offering any value whatsoever since the 5000 series. No non X, no 6 core and launch and when they do? it is too expensive. Gone are the 3000 series and before that where they offered a cheap option.

It was obvious Intel would catch up again at some point. Totally obvious. I hope AMD have enjoyed it whilst they can.

The 12700KF is now very cheap in the U.S. Like, $240 or less.

Ryzen killer ? Intel need all the positives they can get they are losing a ton of market share and the most worrying for them is the server market losses.

Sure they can still provide value with different products, but the mindshare is lost in my view with even some of the biggest server partnerships demanding certain products in mass or they are litterally telling Intel were going to ditch you.

So while value is there in different ways on the lower midrange cpus they make anything higher end is just not as competitive.

For me the key change was that AMD with AM4 provided a platform that didn't need a new mobo every other chip to work, So while Intel have caught up the mindset they have just hasn't changed in my view.

but true value is there, but killer well i dont agree, just wait until Zen 5.

Question also is, how much power will they sacrifice in order to keep said performance?... AMD is more or less the efficiency king.
