Ryzen 5 2600X benchmarks leak

For reals.

Looks much more like it, though I wish they would use a different benchmark.

Looks pretty good.
I will post a comparison if I can get back into windows as its been broken again by an update.

It's not Ryzen that's crap, but motherboard manufacturers can DEFINITELY be put to questioning over Ryzens release, and ONGOING memory issues. The kinks are FAR from worked out on Ryzen for higher speed memory. Heck, I'm back to running 2133, and I have seriously kick-arse ram. I USED to think I was stable at higher speeds, now I doubt I ever was. Stability is still an issue there, which is why I'm not overly excited about this next gen stuff. They haven't worked the kinks out of the FIRST gen yet.

Then your sources are crap

No, actually they are not. Again you need to understand what I meant.

Ryzen as a CPU tech is amazing. Jim Keller really did smash it out of the park. However, Ryzen as an end product was pretty terrible, even in success. We all know that 4ghz is pretty lame, and not all CPUs were hitting that either. Then there were all of the compatibility issues it had with RAM, serious BIOS issues and so on and so forth.

The 2200G APU has been a bit of a nightmare too.

One of my sources worked for Asus and he said it was rushed and thus that is why it was limited to 4ghz. Of course now that AMD actually have a product out there that is selling they can start making Ryzen shine (pun not intended).

Oh and before the lynch mob turn up let me just say that Ryzen was very very good. It could, however, have been better. And I am sure it will get better and better as they refine and have the time to sit down with it for a while.

They are.

You can pull up any source you want then only one that matters is $$$$$. And AMD made a lot off Ryzen. There's no disputing that.

I'm not disputing that or anything else, dude. I am just saying that Ryzen 1 as a CPU was not perfect, and that it should have been better. I said "It's horrid" and in the things I reference to it is.

Some of them won't even clock past 3.7ghz. Seeing as they have already made 5ghz hay and Intel are also now doing it that is pretty poor. And it was down to rushed mfg.

Let's be honest here, had the climate not been what it was* Ryzen could have taken a smashing by reviewers. But it didn't, because we were absolutely desperate for it.

* As Eddie Murphy once said...

"If you were starving, and somebody threw you a cracker you'd be like "GOD DAMN *kisses each finger* that was delicious ! what was that cheese? malted? god damn that thing was delicious !".

I think we were just all incredibly relieved to finally have a cheaper alternative to £185 I3s.
