Rumour has it that Bloodborne is heading to PC

There's an old Roman saying from the Roman emperor Vespasian -

"Money does not stink"

If Sony and it's studios can get extra revenue from even more sources then they'll do it.

Hopefully it's actually optimized unlike the PS4 version. There's even a hack someone did in dev mode that lowered the resolution to 720p just to maintain 60fps. It's just tons of frame drops out of the box.

its interesting all these PS exclusives coming to PC around the same time Sony claim the IO of the PS5 is superior to a PC etc.

I wonder if there is a correlation going on here

I wonder if it's like a taster for games you've missed on the PS system to tempt pc gamers to buy into the ecosystem when the PS 5 releases.

Looking at it from a business viewpoint they have already had their main chunk of sales on these titles that are meant to be coming to PC, There won't be a sudden upsurge in sales on these titles on PS4 so it makes sense to widen their revenue stream by releasing on a separate platform.

Maybe they are beginning to realise why Sega pulled out of the hardware market and just released games. Mostly because that is where the money lies.

It really is daft to shoot yourself in the foot.

That's a self balancing phenomenon though.
Less people making hardware doesn't affect the demand significantly.
So each manufacturer gets a bigger slice of the pie.
Which attracts more manufacturers, which increases competition. So less pie.
Manufacturers drop out etc.
