I am planning to use my old Pentium D 805 with Intel D101GGC as a downloader because my ISP provides free download period from 0200 to 0800. So i want my pc to turn on at 0200 if i leave the plug on.The product manual of D101GGC shows it support RTC Alarm from S5. But the BIOS (Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG) does not show any RTC Alarm option. I use windows xp. I tried googling about acpi settings on xp, but got nothing. Please guide me

Hmm.

I'm guessing the usual way to set this would be power options -> S5 and wakeup selection should be in a seperate list.

The only thing I can think of if they're hard to find/not there, is the bios version is more of an oem one that doesn't allow some changes. Some of them have "hidden menus", where you'd press ctrl+f1 and by magic extra options come up - this differs between manufacturers tho.

Look for a different bios version.
