Hi guys,
I came across a guide that has solved my issue of playing with delay on my STX so I thought I would share it.

I strongly suggest you read the whole guide before just jumping straight in, so you get a good understanding of it.
Long story short I am now playing rocksmith with a real guitar cable (legit crack/fix) and no longer have any gamechanging delay (latency). Before people jump down my throat about the crack. It is not a crack that allows you to play the game for free. You still need to own it legally and also allows full access to Ubisoft servers and online store. This .bat file basically bypasses the need to use their poor quality realtone cable allowing you to use a high end premium quality real guitar cable.
For those curious, I followed the guide and ended up with a value of 384 for MaxOutputBufferSize. This has allowed me to play rocksmith 2014 on my STX soundcard without hardly any noticeable input latency.
This procedure can even be used for those using onboard audio as this already has the lowest latency possible vs dedicated soundcards.
