Great news. IT's one thing for AMD to release a fast 8 core CPU, another for a game dev to actually support it properly. Didn't get any of this for Vishera !
Tomb Raider was AMD sponsored game from start, so ti is obvious they will be among the first to implement patches. With Ryzen slowly taking bigger, and bigger place on the market this should become more standard. Thing s are looking good. AMD has re-energized the market.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was actually more of a Nvidia game TBH, I think it was bundled with their GPUs at the time at it uses HBAO+.
The original was an AMD Gaming Evolved title, but Rise of the Tomb Raider isn't. Rise of the Tomb Raider was also the first game to use a Nvidia friendly implementation of ASYNC Compute etc.
Great ! Just tested it. From 120 avrg to 140 with ryzen 7 1700 4ghz and gtx 1080 with large bump in geothermal. Especially lower fps. High speed memory and small optimisation mean very good performance in gaming for ryzen.
