Hey guys,
So since Dice posted about him getting somewhat of a rip off on his Windows key and I have had a similar experience, I thought it would be somewhat of a laugh to make a thread about just that... rip-off purchases in any way.
This is just meant to be a bit of fun, over the entire exepriences people have experienced when a shop, company or person has ripped you off your money.
Not entirely sure if this thread will even go on... but anywho
I'll start off with a small story of my latest rip-off...
I purchased an digital wall clock on eBay, the seller was pretty smart to put a 40% glass and 60% aliminium clock inside a 1cm thick wooden box, with 2cm hard foam.
Not the best packaging ever, safe to say...to then, send it from Australia to Sweden.
Even at the post office I heard something was wrong and when I got home and oppened it... tah dah!, completely wrecked. I haven't even tested it, due to safety precautions of the entire thing.
Contacted the seller which completely ignored me for a few months, enough for the 3 months eBay warranty thingy to pass... so when I contacted eBay about it, all they said, (and it was 4 different customer service representatives) were that the time has passed and all I could do were to contact the seller... which never replied.
So got ripped off my money... nice those things
