RIP 12VHPWR - Nvidia and PCI-SIG have a replacement in the works

I have an inkling Nvidia will do a Super 4060/70/80/90 refresh with increased specs and the new safer connector which will be quite the kick in the pants for current 4000 series owners.

Oh but it was user error right lmao!

A few were BUT it's user error that shouldn't be easily doable as the connector should have 2 clips at the top and 2 clips underneath that only clip in once it is fully seated and not able to wiggle at all. .

I would agree, they will probably be releasing super variants late this year or early next year with more VRAM, maybe slightly higher specs or clock speeds, but I don't expect that, would be "too much" for them to give us... More VRAM for sure tho.

RTX 50 I would expect only 2025+
