Reverse Delay? - Assassin's Creed Mirage is launching earlier than expected

Good! The last three AC games were extremely boring and just plain AWFUL. It is good that they are returning to the TRUE AC roots.

I'll get it at some stage after all I have the whole series, it's the early games I enjoyed most and many I've not gotten around to yet either as i picked them up cheap or the time investment I've not been willing to invest.

If it releases in a bad way, it's going to be quite ironic and not a good publicity affair for Ubisoft... seeing as it's only 20 hours long though and cost over $2 per hour of gameplay, there better be no excuse for a bad launch.

Don't hold your breath. Look at AC Unity. :D

They're not "returning to the roots". They are selling a $15 DLC as a $60 game, under the guise of "returning to the roots". They didn't have an AC to sell this year, so to appease the shareholders, they repurposed what was supposed to be DLC for Valhalla and turned it into a standalone game. Don't expect a polished product or a well designed game. It's just an overpriced DLC pretending to be something it's not.
