Regarding Ram installation on Asus P8Z68-V LX

Hey guys,

Just need to check if this was a possible problem.
I know you have two colours for channels on the motherboard of which are colour coordinated.

I have 8GB (2x4GB) of memory, Now am I right in saying It goes in the 2nd slot and the 4th slot? Or should it be 1st and 3rd?

Just need to check
New power supply comes tomorrow.
Ordered Be Quiet E9 StraightPower 680W Modular PSU to replace my OCZ powersupply knowing how bad OCZ are....

Yeah I lost the manual, I currently have it in 2nd and 4th. I'll wait for some more replies.

I'll try find the online pdf, I'm sure its on the asus site

On my Z77 ASUS board, I have mine in 1 and 3. I'm sure I looked it up when I did it and it was that, may be worth double checking myself though

Yup, I'm using the blue, Was just checking, needed several others to verify I was correct and wasn't doing anything incorrectly.
